Information we collect
We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information to read this site. We collect information in two ways:
- Analytics data. This site loads Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via the Google Tag Manager script library (
gtag.js). GA4 collects standard analytics data including pages visited, approximate geographic region, browser and device type, and referral source. This data is associated with a randomized GA4 client ID stored in a first-party cookie (_gaand related cookies). We use this data to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. - Affiliate click data. This site loads a first-party click tracker (
aff-track.js) that fires a GA4 event when you click an outbound affiliate link. The event records the destination URL and the page you clicked from. No additional personal data is collected by this tracker.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Some links on this site point to Amazon.com and other third-party retailers through affiliate programs. When you follow one of those links, the destination site may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon collects data about purchases and browsing under its own privacy notice.
Cookies
This site sets first-party cookies used by Google Analytics 4 (primarily _ga and _ga_*). These cookies persist for up to 13 months and are used to distinguish returning visitors for analytics purposes. No third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels are set by this site.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics measurement via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under our agreement with Google. We do not share analytics data with any other third parties except as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Because we do not collect identifiable personal information directly, most requests relate to data held by Google Analytics. To exercise rights related to Google Analytics data, use Google's tools at myaccount.google.com or contact us at privacy@weldworthy.com and we will assist where we can.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
